In our work, we opted for the installation of alarm equipment from the Israeli manufacturer “ PIMA Electronic Systems Ltd. ”, because it currently represents the pinnacle of the offer in this field thanks to the implementation of the most current technical and technological breakthroughs. This ensures the highest, currently possible, level of reliability and security of equipment from a single manufacturer that can be found on the market.
The PIMA anti-theft and fire alarm system is a highly integrated, modular, expandable system that continuously monitors the operation of its components. In this way, with the existence of a special protection mechanism against sabotage, the system does not allow interference with the execution of its primary function without signaling such an attempt.
In the event of an unauthorized violation of the protected area by an unknown person with unknown intentions, and provided that the system is ACTIVATED, the first part of the system to react is the motion detector. Given their strategically planned arrangement, it is not possible to violate the interior of the protected area without any of the motion detectors registering it. When a specific motion detector registers movement in its coverage area, it sends a signal to the alarm control panel. Based on the received signal, the alarm control panel generates a message about the violation of the area with exact data on which motion detector was activated. Based on this information, the location of the violation of the area can be determined, since we know in advance the arrangement of the sensors in the facility. Such a message is sent by the control panel, via a communicator, to the monitoring center simultaneously via a telephone line and via a radio link .
In this way, by combining these two types of communication, the best effects are achieved. The radio connection enables the immediate transmission of information to the monitoring center, so that we have information about the violation of the space practically the same moment it occurs. Such a unique technical solution results in enough time for a timely reaction, because we receive information about the violation of the integrity of the facility at the same moment it occurs. In this way, such systems are unique on the market and represent the very top of the range in terms of efficiency and capabilities.
At the moment of alarm, there is a possibility to activate the microphone module (if installed) to listen to the events inside the facility. The microphone module can be activated only for the duration of the alarm state, as a predefined system reaction to an emergency event in the facility. By listening to the events inside the facility, a more detailed insight into the current situation can be achieved and additional activities to protect the integrity of the facility can be planned accordingly. Considering that the audio recording is transmitted via a telephone line, the quality and reliability of this possibility depends solely on the quality, load and availability of the lines of Telekom “Srbija”.
In addition to the radio connection, all information is also sent via a telephone line to the monitoring center. This procedure provides the necessary communication backup, because in the event of a telephone line interruption, the information still reaches the monitoring center along with a message about the telephone line interruption. In this way, the system is completely protected from any attempts to prevent communication, even in the event of an attempt to sabotage the radio transmitter, because it is protected inside the control panel housing, the unauthorized opening of which cannot go unnoticed.
